Australia's Best Brownies

Paul Hollywood, star of The Great British Bake Off  travels the world tasting all things baked. Having started the Australian Brownie revolution back in 2006, Dello Mano, a family owned business is committed to their little "morsels of chocolatey goodness". " Back in 2006, husband and wife team Deborah and Bien Peralta and their two children sparked the  brownie revolution when they took the dry cookie/cake hybrid that was the Australian Brownie and morphed it to a chocolate packed delight. "No one cared about brownies back then and looking for an idea, I decided to use my Food Science background to redevelop the brownie into something that was more a chocolate/brownie hybrid. After a year of recipe testing at nights after work, we finally had something that was uniquely our own brownie recipe and it sparked the revolution" says Deborah.

Now a decade on, the Peralta's continued Brownie quest, has witnessed their Brownie, enjoyed across the world by the likes of Hollywood  Super Stars, World Presidents, and chocolate loving brownie eaters everywhere.  

Dello Mano pioneered Brownie Gifts in 2006

"It was a little crazy back in those days to do something that was completely counter to the market place, But as Australia was consumed by cup cakes and macrons at the time, we wanted to do something that was unique and different. I had been Product Development Manager at Cadbury and with my experience and love of chocolate we really felt like the Brownie had lots more potential" says Deborah.

"Looking back our Brownie vision has irreversibly changed the plight for all Australian Brownies" laughs Bien.

Dello Mano has two stores in Brisbane - CBD  Queen St Mall in the Tattersalls Arcade and the other at 29 Doggett St. Teneriffe. Open 7 days, both shops offer Brownie Chocolate Gifts, Cakes and other hand made delectables.
