Note we deliver week days Monday - Friday.  If you order your cake on Friday the next delivery day will be Monday. 

You can order and pick up your cake Saturday at our retail store in the Wintergarden.

We also carry stock at our Wintergarden store so you can pop in and see what cakes are available on the day.

We understand that circumstances may arise where no one is home to receive your Dello Mano cake delivery.

In all cases, our cake deliveries are sent with with your approval  for"Authority to Leave". This means you are giving authority for the cake or delivery to be left in what is deemed a safe place by our courier drivers. 

For this reason it is essential that you check that someone will be home before sending the cake.

In the event that no one is available to receive the cake at the time of delivery, our driver will exercise discretion and leave the package in a safe location, as determined by the driver. This approach helps prevent any potential delivery delays and ensures that your cake arrives in a timely manner.

However, please note that if no safe location is identified for the delivery, the package will be returned. In such instances, a new delivery fee will be charged for redirection. In some circumstances depending on transport availability the re- delivery may not be possible on that same day.

To avoid any inconvenience or added costs, we recommend considering an

1. An alternative delivery address, such as a workplace, where someone is available to accept the cake delivery.
2. Or you contact the recipient and advise them to be home on the day of the delivery.
3. Organise a friendly neighbour to look out for the delivery and pick up the cake from the place it was left and store it for you till someone returns home.

Of these options, we advise the best alternative is to be absolutely sure that someone is available to collect the cake from the driver. Unfortunately we cannot take responsibility for cakes not received at the door from the driver.
