Dello Mano Allergen Policy

Handmade with Care – But Not Allergen-Free

Important Information for Allergy & Sensitivity Awareness

At Dello Mano, we’ve spent over 18 years creating luxury brownies, cakes, and food gifts with a handmade touch. Every item is prepared in our own dedicated kitchen using traditional small batch methods and premium ingredients.

 We care deeply about quality and safety, and in the spirit of transparency, we want to make it clear from the outset:

Dello Mano products are not suitable for people with food allergies, intolerances or dietary sensitivities.

All of our products will contain trace or whole amounts of all allergens, and we advise against consumption for anyone with a known allergy, sensitivity or intolerance.

Our Kitchen & Cross-Contact Risk

All Dello Mano products are made in our own kitchen, where we use a wide variety of ingredients every day
 including but not limited to:

  • Wheat (gluten)
  • Eggs
  • Dairy
  • Nuts & peanuts
  • Soy
  • Sesame seeds
  • Sulphites

We use shared equipment (mixers, ovens, trays, benches) across all products. While we clean between batches, we cannot eliminate the risk of cross-contact. Therefore, any Dello Mano product will contain trace or whole amounts of all allergens.

Nut Use in Our Kitchen

We work with a range of nuts, including but not limited to :

  • Peanuts
  • Almonds
  • Walnuts
  • Pistachios
  • Pecans
  • Macadamias
  • Hazelnuts

Even if a specific product doesn’t include nuts as an ingredient, it may still come into contact with nut products during production.

If you or your recipient has a nut allergy, we advise not consuming our products.

Please note:

While we have listed the most common allergens used in our kitchen, this list is a general guide only. Other allergens may be present depending on ingredient variations or supplier inputs.
For this reason, we do not recommend our products for anyone with food allergies, intolerances, or sensitivities of any kind.

Gluten-Friendly Products

Some of our products are labelled gluten-friendly made without gluten-containing ingredients.

However, all are made in the same kitchen as our gluten-based products. We do notlabel any item gluten-free.

These items are not suitable for people with coeliac disease, any sensitivity or gluten intolerance.

Dairy, Eggs, Soy, Sesame, and Other Allergens

We regularly use ingredients like:

  • Real butter and cream
  • Eggs
  • Soy-based chocolate
  • Sesame seeds

These ingredients are present throughout our kitchen.Despite good kitchen practices, cross-contact is likely, and we cannot guarantee the absence of any allergen mentioned or otherwise.

For Gift Givers

Many of our customers purchase Dello Mano products as heartfelt gifts. Before sending, please check whether your recipient has any food allergies or dietary requirements.

The most thoughtful gift is one that considers well-being. If you're unsure, you're always welcome to contact us.

A Note for Vegans

Our products are handmade using traditional ingredients such as butter, cream, eggs, and occasionally honey. As such, Dello Mano products are not suitable for vegans.
