We make the accompaniments and choose the wine; your recipient adds the cheese they love. This hamper contains our Gathered Seed & Olive Oil Crackers, Beetroot & Orange Relish, Fig, Port & Walnut Chutney, Plum & Mountain Pepper Salt and Spiced Nuts, together with one 750 mL bottle of Wirra Wirra Church Block Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz Merlot 2018.
We make the five foods in our Brisbane kitchen and pack the gift by hand in our brown-and-cream striped hamper box with cream tissue. A complimentary personal gift message can be included.
Cheese is not included. This hamper contains alcohol. The purchaser and recipient must both be aged 18 or over. Proof of age may be requested on delivery. Please drink responsibly.

A Cheese Board They Can Make Their Own
A cheese board becomes personal when someone chooses the cheese.
We have made what sits around it: crisp crackers, two different preserves, spiced nuts and a finishing salt. We have chosen a bottle of Church Block to pour alongside them.
The recipient might add one favourite cheese or bring home several to share. Either way, the gift gives them a considered starting point while leaving that choice in their hands.

Five foods we make in our Brisbane kitchen, together with the red wine we chose for the board.
Gathered Seed & Olive Oil Crackers 150 g
Crisp with olive oil and a generous gathering of seeds, these crackers give the board its savoury crunch. Set them beside the cheese and let everyone build their own bite with a little relish or chutney. 150g
Beetroot & Orange Relish
Earthy beetroot, orange and warm spice bring brightness to the board. A small spoonful beside cheese adds colour and a different flavour from the richer fig chutney. 220g
Fig, Port & Walnut Chutney
Figs and cranberries bring gentle sweetness, port adds depth, and pieces of walnut give the chutney texture. Spoon it alongside aged cheddar, creamy brie or blue cheese for a generous contrast. 220g
Plum & Mountain Pepper Salt
A finishing salt with plum and aromatic mountain pepper. Use just a little over a piece of cheese to bring another savoury detail to the board.
Spiced Nuts
Maple-roasted nuts and seeds with a gentle cayenne finish. Put them out for nibbling between bites of cheese, or scatter a few across the board for crunch. 150g
Wirra Wirra Church Block Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz Merlot 2018
We chose this full-bodied McLaren Vale red to pour alongside the richer foods in the hamper. Its dark-berry character and structure make it a natural companion to the fig chutney and more full-flavoured cheeses. Made by Wirra Wirra; selected by Dello Mano. 750mL

Just Add the Cheese
Choose a cheese the recipient enjoys and set it beside the crackers. Spoon out a little Beetroot & Orange Relish and Fig, Port & Walnut Chutney, then put the Spiced Nuts within reach.
Use the Plum & Mountain Pepper Salt sparingly as a finishing touch. Pour the Church Block and let everyone make their own combinations. Aged cheddar, creamy brie and blue cheese are useful ideas alongside the chutney, but the choice belongs to the person opening the gift.
Something We Noticed
We pack the crackers, chutney, salt and wine with a board in mind. Somewhere, at a table we may never see, someone will bring the cheese they love to the middle of it.

Why Church Block Belongs Here
We chose the 2018 Wirra Wirra Church Block Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz Merlot for its full-bodied, dark-berry character and structure alongside a generous cheese board.
Our Fig, Port & Walnut Chutney brings rich fruit and texture; the Plum & Mountain Pepper Salt adds a savoury finishing detail. The wine has a place beside those flavours, particularly when the recipient chooses a firmer or more full-flavoured cheese.
Wirra Wirra makes the wine in McLaren Vale. We make the five food accompaniments in Brisbane. This is our way of bringing them together, with the cheese left to the recipient.

We then pack the foods with the Church Block wine in our striped hamper box with cream tissue. Add your personal message when you order and we will include it with the gift.

Keep unopened pantry products in a cool, dark, dry place as directed. Refrigerate the Beetroot & Orange Relish and Fig, Port & Walnut Chutney after opening, and keep opened crackers and Spiced Nuts sealed. Use a clean spoon when serving the chutney.
Store the wine away from heat and direct sunlight until ready to serve.

We chose the full-bodied 2018 wine to sit alongside the fig chutney, savoury finishing salt and cheeses the recipient selects.
Aged cheddar, creamy brie and blue cheese are useful ideas alongside the chutney.
Use it as a finishing salt, adding a light sprinkle just before serving so its plum and pepper notes stay distinct. Try it over warm baked brie, or mix a small pinch into softened unsalted butter to spread on the seeded crackers. Start lightly, then taste before adding more. Cheese is not included in the hamper.
