It's summer in London but there was definitely a real need for coats, scarves and brollies. Despite the change in weather pace from Brisbane, the intrepid brownie team trekked on to explore the sites of London. It's true there was little sunshine and little bright light however perhaps that's why there is so much rich red colour in the streets and shops. Seemingly all around. Enjoy some of the reds of London.
The gorgeous huge flags lining the Mall leading up to Buckingham Palace.
The tassels on the helmets of the guards at the trooping of the colours.
The iconic telephone boxes still scattered about the city (and we did see someone actually making a call)
The buses of course.
Beautiful red berry cakes.
The lights in one of the stores.
These gorgeous fresh cherries we bought from a street vendor just near the Covent Garden tube station.
All so beautiful perhaps because the colour was set against the overcast light. Inspired by the rich red throughout London. We have our red doors and stools at Dello Mano, but maybe we could do with just a little more red?
