What are Kourabiedes?
Kourabiedes are traditional Greek biscuits known for their tender, buttery texture and generous coating of icing sugar.
Our Dello Mano version is made with almond and delicately flavoured with vanilla and orange blossom, creating a biscuit that is rich, fragrant and beautifully soft in texture.

Made for espresso, dessert plates and after-dinner sharing.
A delicate almond biscuit with vanilla and orange blossom
There is something distinctive about the contrast in a Kourabiedes: the soft coating of icing sugar on the outside and the tender almond biscuit beneath.
Vanilla brings warmth, while orange blossom adds a subtle aromatic note. The result is a delicate, crumbly biscuit with a melt-in-the-mouth texture and a flavour that unfolds gently as you eat it.
Beautiful with coffee or tea, they are equally at home on a shared table, offered to guests or enjoyed as a small moment of something thoughtfully made.
Handmade in small batches in Brisbane
We make our Kourabiedes in small batches in the Dello Mano kitchen in West End, Brisbane.
Their handmade nature is part of their character, from the tender texture of the biscuit to the generous coating of icing sugar that gives Kourabiedes their distinctive finish.
Packed in our European Biscuit Collection presentation box, they are ready to enjoy at home, bring to the table or give as a thoughtful food gift.

A biscuit inspired by our West End neighbourhood
Our European Biscuit Collection began with some of the biscuits we have long loved — French-style Galettes, Italian Amaretti and Danish Butter Cookies. As the collection grew, we found ourselves thinking about our own kitchen here in West End and the strong Greek heritage that is part of the neighbourhood.
It felt only right to explore a Greek biscuit for the collection. We tested different versions, shared them with local people and were kindly given guidance along the way.
Eventually, we settled on our version of Kourabiedes — a delicate almond biscuit with vanilla, orange blossom and a generous coating of icing sugar.
It now sits naturally alongside our French Galettes, Italian Amaretti and Danish Butter Cookies, adding a little piece of West End to our growing European Biscuit Collection.
