CURRENTLY THINKING....
the telling of stories, the beauty of a shared human experience and above all a deep rooted desire to ignite and exercise the imagination. For an active imagintion brings understanding, tolerance, and change. This is THE BASICS PROJECT.Well with a philosophy like that, we at Dello Mano found The Basics Project irrisistible!
Next week the Anywhere Theatre Festivalentertains Brisbane. What a fantastic idea! According to the Fesival (not for profit theatre group) website, the event was created to allow theatre (opera, drama, musical, singing, acrobat etc) to be held anywhere within the Brisbane City Limits. The goal is to inspire and propel creative, passionate theatre anywhere but traditional theatre spaces. Sounds great and with that goal, the venues are imaginative and an experience -dining rooms, gardens, streets and so on.
We were lucky enough to meet the lovely Luke Butler here at Dello Mano.
Luke is an accomplished Theatre Director and has an amazing creative energy . Next week together with his cast, he directs the show Metamorphosis as part of the Anywhere Theatre Festival. The story written by Steven Berkoff is described as a beautifully sad kitchen sink drama about a family pulled apart by it's own values and over whelming love. Luke says the show is a "hyper imagination pumped essay" on the questions of family values and family dynamics.
The show sounds fantastic and if Luke's passion and creativity are anything to go by, will be a wonderfully entertaining experience. We are all very much looking forward to seeing the show.
Go Luke and team Metamorphosis!

They don’t have a huge orange kick, then again my hubby did a great job gentitg all of the orange insides out. You could leave more in so that there was more or an orange flavor. Or probably more reliable, make an orange sauce from the insides you’ve scooped.
