🚚 Delivery & Pick-Up

• How are cakes delivered? (IMPORTANT – Please Read)
  All cake deliveries are sent Authority to Leave (ATL). This means the courier may leave the cake unattended if no one is home, or return it to the depot if it's not safe to leave. Redelivery fees may apply. We strongly recommend sending to a work address or ensuring someone will be home. Cakes left unattended are perishable and should not be exposed to heat or sun.
• Where do you deliver cakes?
  We deliver to Brisbane, Gold Coast, and Sunshine Coast. Cake delivery is not available outside these zones. Explore Australia-wide brownie delivery.
• Do you offer same-day delivery?
  Yes — for inner Brisbane suburbs, same-day express delivery is available if ordered by 11am. Subject to availability and may incur custom delivery fees.
• Can I pick up cakes in-store?
  Yes — from our Wintergarden Brisbane CBD store only. Indooroopilly is now closed and does not offer pickup.
• Do you carry cakes in-store?
  Yes — we begin each day with a wide range of cakes available at Wintergarden. You can walk in or call 1300 033 467 to check stock.

🧊 Storage & Serving

• How should I store and serve your cakes?
  Keep cakes refrigerated until ready to use. Before serving, allow at least 30 minutes at room temperature — especially mudcakes. This allows the butter to soften and ensures a luscious, velvety texture.
• What’s the shelf life of your cakes?
  Cakes are best enjoyed within 3–5 days. Keep refrigerated unless noted otherwise.
• Can I freeze your cakes?
  Yes — tightly wrap in plastic, store in an airtight container, and freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw in the fridge overnight and bring to room temp before serving.

📅 Ordering & Cancellations

• When should I place my cake order?
  For best results, order at least one day before your required delivery or pickup date.
• What if I have a cake emergency?
  Call us on 1300 033 467 — we’ll do our best to help with last-minute requests.
• Can I order cakes for multiple recipients?
  Yes — for corporate gifting or group events, email us at orders@dellomano.com.au and we’ll coordinate delivery to multiple addresses.
• What is your cancellation and refund policy?
  Standard cakes: Cancel with 48 hours' notice for a refund or credit.

🌾 Ingredients & Dietary Info

• Do your cakes contain nuts?
  Many do. All cakes are made in a kitchen where nuts, gluten, dairy, eggs, and other allergens are present.
• Do you make gluten-free or gluten-friendly cakes?
  Yes — we offer gluten-friendly cakes (no wheat flour). Important: All products are made in a shared kitchen. We cannot guarantee no trace gluten. Not suitable for coeliacs or those with severe allergies.

🎁 Gifting & Personalisation

• Can I send a cake as a gift?
  Absolutely. Add a gift message at checkout — we’ll include it with your order in our signature Dello Mano packaging.
• Can I include a personalised message on the cake?
  Yes — we offer personalised cake messages and decorations. Please call us or email at least 48 hours in advance for special requests.

💍 Wedding & Custom Cakes

• Do you require a deposit for wedding or custom cakes?
  We take full payment upfront to secure your booking.
• What is your refund policy for wedding cakes?
  
  • 100% refund – if cancelled 4+ weeks before the event
  • 50% refund – if cancelled 3 weeks before the event
  • No refund – if cancelled 2 weeks or less before the event
• How far in advance should I book a wedding cake?
  We recommend 4–6 weeks’ notice for all wedding and custom cake orders.
• Do you offer tastings for wedding cakes?
  Not currently. However, we’re happy to guide you through flavours and options based on your preferences.
• Can I customise my wedding cake design?
  Yes — from flavour to decoration, we offer full design flexibility. Please email orders@dellomano.com.au to start planning.
