It's rather chilly here by Brisbane, Australia standards, so it was quite pleasant to be talking all things brownies, chocolate and coffee with Jessica from online Local Business expert, True Local.  Jessica called with a mission to discover more about our recently opened second brownie store located in the very beautiful and iconic Brisbane Tattersalls Arcade 

Dello Mano Brownie Pioneers

As many of you know, Dello Mano pioneered the Brownie revolution in Australia, launching the Classic Luxury Brownie way back in 2006. Back then Brownies were just dusty bottom shelf forgotten about desserts. Since we spotlighted Brownies, we've watched as Brownies have increasingly appeared in magazines, cafes and now even restaurants menus. A whole little Brownie industry has developed since Dello Mano launched in 2006.

Small Family Business and Family Balance

As a small family business we/ve been totally committed to our foundation values of providing beautiful, handmade brownies, chocolates and desserts. With two small children at our business outset,we've been very careful to manage small business, creating a new Brownie category and of course our kids. With that, we decided early on to carefully measure our growth allowing the kids time to grow up and although they haven't escaped being "children of small business and all the late nights and running around that entails" we have balanced being there for them. 

We're in Good Company

Over ten years of course, the girls have grown and earlier this year, when we were approached about an available space in the Tattersalls Arcade, we thought it both timely and irresistible in terms of the Arcade's premium and iconic place in Brisbane. Not only is the Aracade beautiful, we have amazing and talented neighbours with the likes of Adam Grahamand Lanna Dunn Jewellery, Hunt Leather, Optiko, Marchetti's  and Canturi. Of course the Arcade too, is just off the every busy and exciting Queen St. Mallat the Edward St. end in the Brisbane CBD. 

We jumped at the opportunity to open our second Dello Mano Store at Tattersalls Arcade and with all the rush and drama only small family business can conjure, we opened our doors on June 1 this year.
