Dello Mano is a Small Family Business

At Dello Mano, family is at the core of everything we do. Our journey has been a collaborative effort, with our daughters joining us right from the beginning. From those early days at the very first farmers markets, where they were small children, they imbibed the essence of customer service and learned about the world of entrepreneurship. Setting up the stand at 3am, serving customers, and managing transactions, they grew along with our business.

Our girls not only witnessed the growth of Dello Mano but actively contributed to its success. They'd catch a few winks of sleep in the car before eagerly helping set up the stand, all while anticipating the treat breakfast burger from the lvoely couple called Ma & Pa Burgers with stand just down the aisle from us. Over time, they evolved from novice participants to proactive entrepreneurs, taking ownership of the stand, interacting with customers, and building their own loyal clientele who cherished the idea of supporting young minds in their journey.

During bustling Christmases, they stood shoulder to shoulder with us in the kitchen, navigating the unpredictable tide of orders. Our kitchen became a hub of shared laughter, challenges (!), and triumphs, with the four of us working together to meet the demands of the festive season. As they journeyed through high school and university, they continued to be an integral part of our stores, from Teneriffe to New Farm and even the Tattersalls Arcade.

Today, our daughters have graduated from university with formal tertiary qualifications, solidly enriched by the training and experiences of a small family business. Their dedication and contribution reflect the values we hold dear - hard work, dedication, and a commitment to excellence. Just as our brownies are crafted with care, every step of our journey has been a labour of love that we've shared and continue to  as a family.

Deborah Peralta - Co-Founder

Deb Peralta Co-Founder Dello Mano

Hello there! I'm Deborah Peralta, one of the co-founders of Dello Mano Luxury Brownies. My journey has meandered through the halls of giants like Cadbury, Arnotts, Kelloggs, and Sanitarium. Yet, my true transformation occurred during a family voyage to Italy, where the magic of food and celebration became crystal clear.

 With a degree in Food Science, Business (Marketing), and Diploma in Holistic Art Therapy Counselling, my path was diverse. In 2006, hand in hand with my husband Bien, we embarked on a mission to reimagine the brownie landscape. Thus, Dello Mano was born, born out of a desire to preserve the craft of handcrafting genuine food, to embrace the allure of premium ingredients, and to nurture creativity within our workspace.

From humble beginnings, labouring away in a shared kitchen for the Jan Powers Farmers Market, to gracing the tables of celebrities, politicians, and connoisseurs around the world, our brownies have grown to symbolise exquisite taste and unwavering dedication. 

Bien Peralta - Co-Founder

Bien Peralta Co-Founder Dello Mano

Hi! I'm Bien Peralta! Alongside my wife Deborah, I co-founded Dello Mano Luxury Brownies. With a degree in Business Marketing and the honour of being the winner of the Brisbane Multicultural Business of the Year award, I bring sales knowledge and experience to our culinary journey.

My path through the realms of sales and marketing spans Schweppes, Cadbury, and Wella, and is interwoven with a passion for diverse cuisines nurtured by my multicultural upbringing.

Our aspiration to build a food business kindled our weekends by Sydney Harbour, where we envisioned a venture that celebrated authentic flavors and genuine service.

A transformative odyssey in Italy solidified this dream, inspiring us to establish Dello Mano in 2006.

Now residing in Brisbane, I relish the joy of chocolate every day – a tribute to the passion we infuse into each brownie and the delight of sharing life's sweet moments.
