Hot Cross Buns Launched

Dello Mano has launched a limited edition Hot Cross Bun. Handmade in a traditional slow method our Hot Cross Buns are available in packs of 6 and boxed ready to go.

We first launched on our website several weeks ago so clients could buy our Hot Cross Buns online. We thought it would help them to get Hot Cross Buns given difficulties in traveling given the current situation. It seemed at the time our clients may be limited to only one choice and of going in person to the supermarket for Coles Hot Cross buns or Woolworths Hot Cross Buns. So, we decided to apply our Baker skills in the kitchen and develop a delicious Dello Mano alternative. We decided to provide this alternative and utilise our  Brownie Delivery expertise by including this new service of  Hot Cross Bun delivery.

With the delivery leveraging our brownie delivery infrastructure in place all eyes then turned to our Dello Mano kitchen. Lucky for us we had a very experienced Baker who lept to the Dello Mano challenge and using a traditional Hot Cross Bun recipe he began baking and created these delicious fluffy morsels for us all to enjoy. And then he just kept baking...

Our Hot Cross buns are hand made with dried fruits and finished with the traditional cross and then glazed. They look and taste amazing if I do say so myself. It seems Hot Cross bun history is steeped in all sorts of mystery and magical powers and although perhaps no one has the one answer to this, I think we can all agree that they need to taste great!

Following huge online hot cross bun delivery demand, we extended our offer and have made them available at our Dello Mano New Farm store. 

In these difficult times, it seems like a perfect treat to enjoy over the Easter Long Weekend. When everything is so disrupted out there, it's comforting to enjoy a nice warm Easter Hot Cross Bun with a tea or coffee and just take a moment. That is exactly what we Peraltas will be doing this Good Friday.

Dello Mano Hot Cross Buns can be purchased tomorrow the 11th April at our New Farm cake store at Merthyr Village. We have limited stock. Our store opens at 7am. We will be open at New Farm for Take- Away coffee and treats from Saturday and through the long weekend.
